ImageAccording to Wikipedia, Leadership has been described as “a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task“.[1] Other in-depth definitions of leadership have also emerged.

Leadership is “organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal”. The leader may or may not have any formal authority. Studies of leadership have produced theories involving traits,[2] situational interaction, function, behavior, power, vision and values,[3] charisma, and intelligence, among others. Somebody whom people follow: somebody who guides or directs others.

In today’s workplace and in our governing bodies globally leadership overall has gotten a poor grade.  Leaders are being forced to make huge decisions that affect not only our safety as a society but our personal lives in terms of employment  and healthcare.

Leadership 2013 involves a day to day learning process that soars beyond their desk or inner circle. It demands increased involvement in terms of communication and so much about emotional intellingence in an everchanging adapting in the moment environment that’s closely being monitored by 24/7 news and social media.

Leadership demands versatility while making decisions at a moment’s notice. One’s overall health, mentally and emotionally must be at peak performance.

The big craze these days centers around keeping our bodies in physical shape often ignoring our information and communcation center, our brain. Fitting our brain allows one to better confront, adapt, and execute during stressful moments.

As a Board Certified Coach I want you at your best health, and in my work, your best health includes your brain health and fitness.  For example, quality sleep not quantifiable sleep  create an atmophere for healthy required rest.
